Anuko Time Tracker Gadget is a simple
plugin for web pages that allows tracking work time right from your favorite web site. For example, you can add Anuko Time Tracker Gadget to your
iGoogle.com page and use it from there. You can also use the gadget on other web pages. This page describes how to use Anuko Time Tracker Gadget.
How to Install and Configure Anuko Time Tracker Gadget
Before using Anuko Time Tracker Gadget you need to add it to your web page and configure it. Visit

What Does the Gadget Do
Anuko Time Tracker Gadget is a simple web interface to a more advanced
Anuko Time Tracker web application. In order to use the gadget you need to know a little bit about this application and have an account on it. To start using Anuko Time Tracker go to
http://timetracker.wrconsulting.com and:
- Create an account by clicking on the "create new manager account" link in the black menu on top.
- After logging in create a few projects and activities.
- Start tracking your work time on the "my time" page. If you need to add more people to your team you can do it on the "people" page.
Anuko Time Tracker Gadget allows you to track your work hours from your favorite web page by selecting a project and an activity you currently work on and press the Start / Stop button. When the Start button is pressed the gadget starts tracking your work time until you tell it to stop. You can also write a short note associated with each time record.
You can see your "total work time" (either for today or for this entire week as defined in gadget settings) in the top section of the gadget.

Configuring Anuko Time Tracker Gadget
To configure your gadget click on the small box with a triangle in it in the top right section of the gadget (highlighted with a red circle on the picture below) and select the "Edit settings" option.
Selecting "Edit settings" shows you the gadget settings page where you provide login and password for
Anuko Time Tracker web application and specify how to display your work hours totals.
Displaying Totals in Anuko Time Tracker Gadget
There are two ways to display work hour totals in the gadget - either for today only or for this entire work week. You can configure this when editing gadget settings. The picture below highlights the area with work hour totals by a red oval.
Configuring Projects and Activities
To configure projects and activities you need to go to
Anuko Time Tracker web application. Click on the
Visit our site link in the bottom right section of the gadget to get there.
Tracking Work Time with Anuko Time Tracker Gadget
To start tracking work time select a project and an activity you are work on, provide and optional note about what you are doing, and click the Start button.
The colon in total on top starts flashing. It tells you that the gadget is tracking your work time. The Start button changes to Stop button. To stop tracking time simply click on it. If you need to change the project or activity you currently track the time for select another project and activity and click the Start button again. It's that simple.
