Anuko Time Tracker 1.2.4 Released

Anuko International Ltd., a Vancouver-based company (British Columbia, Canada), specializing in enterprise productivity tools and services, has released Anuko Time Tracker version 1.2.4.

It is a simple web-based time tracking and billing system with powerful reporting. It is suitable for teams and companies both large and small with any number of users.



CHANGES IN THE NEW VERSION

  • Chinese Traditional and Chinese Simplified language translations added to the existing set of 22 languages.
  • Code extended to support additional languages. For example, we can have Chinese Simplified in addition to Chinese Traditional, etc. The older 2-letter language encoding (ISO 639) is now obsolete.
  • Browser-default option added to determine default presentation language. This allows users to see the interface in their language when they interact with the time tracker.
  • Partially translated Slovenian language file added.
  • Bug fix: an error in Polish language file corrected.
  • Bug fix: an error related to time durations corrected. Such entries as 1.999 and 0.999 on "my time" page were previously interpreted incorrectly.
  • Bug fix: handling of large time entries on the "my time" page corrected. Entries like 101, 103 were previously incorrectly interpreted as 1:01, 1:03, etc.

LDAP Authentication Module

LDAP Authentication Module for time tracker is a handy enhancement that allows users to authenticate directly against a Windows Domain Controller with Active Directory. If you use Windows domains in your organization users do not have to remember 2 different logins and passwords, one for Windows and another one for time tracker. The same login and password can be used for both. Internally, authentication is done over LDAP protocol (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) with a domain controller. Demo version of this module is included in time tracker distribution. The demo version on LDAP Authentication Module is fully functional with one limitation: authenticated sessions last for only 2 minutes.
