Anuko Time Tracker 2.0 To Be Developed
July 27, 2009
Vancouver, BC, Canada
Anuko International Ltd., a Vancouver-based company (BC, Canada), specializing in enterprise productivity tools and services, is pleased to announce that work on new, modular time tracker 2.0 has started.
It is a simple web-based time tracking and billing system with powerful reporting, which is suitable for teams and companies both large and small with any number of users.
The new time tracker should be easier to maintain and adapt for specific needs. It is going to be Zend Framework based, which requires PHP 5.2.4 or later. The initial iteration of Anuko Time Tracker 2.0 will have approximately the same functionality as already available now. The most important point here is to switch to the new model that allows for better plugin-ability and extensions. Anuko plans to release v2.0 for general use in September, 2009. Before release, beta versions will be deployed on a test server for any one to comment and test. Questions, comments, or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Time Tracker Virtual Appliance
Virtual appliances are pre-built, pre-configured ready-to-run enterprise applications that are packaged with an optimized operating system in a virtual machine.
Time Tracker virtual appliance is developed for VMware infrastructure and is configured to run the latest stable version of the time tracker.
LDAP Authentication Module
LDAP Authentication Module for time tracker is a handy enhancement that allows users to authenticate directly against a Windows Domain Controller with Active Directory. If you use Windows domains in your organization users do not have to remember 2 different logins and passwords, one for Windows and another one for time tracker. The same login and password can be used for both. Internally, authentication is done over LDAP protocol (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) with a domain controller. Demo version of this module is included in time tracker distribution. The demo version on
LDAP Authentication Module is fully functional with one limitation: authenticated sessions last for only 2 minutes.
Consulting / Customization
Customers who wish to customize the time tracker software for their specific needs may also be interested in
