How to Download Anuko Time Tracker Free Trial
Virtual appliances are large files (about 200 MB for ours). To eliminate disconnection errors it is recommended to use a program such as
wget. It can resume downloading after disconnects and save you some time and traffic. You can get wget from
wget homepage. After having wget installed, you can run it like this to download the appliance:
wget -c http://www.anuko.com/downloads/time_tracker/anuko_time_tracker_appliance_trial.zip
You can also try downloading using a browser. In this case use the provided URL and save the file.
How to Launch Anuko Time Tracker Virtual Appliance
Unzip the downloaded file. After unzipping you will get a small collection of files that is your VMware virtual machine. You can open one of them (the .vmx file) in your VMware. The operating system in the appliance will boot and you will see something like this:
That's all for launching. The appliance is now ready to go.
How to Use the Appliance
Anuko Time Tracker Virtual Appliance obtains its IP address via DHCP protocol on your network. It prints this address on screen. To use the appliance point your browser to it.
