Re: how best to modify "previous week" report SOLVED
Thank you @peter, my problem is solved. I still don't know how to create a new report, but my Monday report now runs from the previous Monday to Sunday yesterday which is what was important. Thanks!

how best to modify "previous week" report SOLVED
I am using the "previous week" option on the Reports page to send a weekly project report every Monday morning. Except most of the work is being done on the weekend, and the report does't include the most recent weekend. The "previous week" is taken as the previous weekend (9 days ago) and up to the...

sending notification to multiple cc's SOLVED
I've already used up the To: and CC: fields for a notification and wanted to include one more person. Does anyone have a solution that only involves TimeTracker? (I can setup a forwarding rule in Outlook but wanted to solve in TimeTracker if possible).
Thanks,
Dale

re-login behavior after timeout
This has happened often enough now to cause me to write. I have seen many posts about the timeout value, how to make it consistent, how to never timeout, etc., For me though, the real problem is that, as a user creating a time entry, I carefully craft the text for a time entry, click Submit, and the...

Re: how to create report for "current" week SOLVED
Thanks @Nik! I have been selecting actual dates for so long for reports I had completely forgotten there was a pull-down! Doh!

how to create report for "current" week SOLVED
Hi, I would like to create a Notification that emails me every Monday morning with a time report for the previous week (I'd like to experiment with starting my week skimming a re-cap of the previous week). In pseudo-code, the report would starts on date = ($today - 7d), and end on date = ($today - 1...

Re: propose "are you sure" if saving edited time entry with modified date
Hi peter, thanks for investigating. The warning shows up for me when I change the date in unfinished entry, as designed per original request. Ah ha! I wasn't changing the date so that's explains it. My original intent was to prevent accidentally losing a time entry by using Save instead of Copy, and...

Re: propose "are you sure" if saving edited time entry with modified date
A couple months later and "are you sure" has saved me more times than I can count. However it's not triggered if converting an open task to a duration task, at least in this situation. I created an open task in the morning (start time but no end time) with my goals for the day in Comments. Several h...

Re: propose "are you sure" if saving edited time entry with modified date
I just tried the new "Are you sure" feature. Fantastic! I'll never accidentally lose a time record again.
Thanks @wrc. I'll update again when I can confirm if all is ok after running Clean DB.

Re: propose "are you sure" if saving edited time entry with modified date
Hi @wrc. I can login with current code and updated db, but without "Clean up DB". I can't seem to attach more than 2 files to this post, so will send without pics and post them later if anyone wants more detail. I restored the db from a two weeks ago. Running dbinstall.php an old db version as expec...

Re: propose "are you sure" if saving edited time entry with modified date
Hi @Nik, thanks so much for accepting my proposal. I pulled the latest code, then ran dbinstall.php and "Update database structure (v1.17.97 to v1.18.26)" (although the login page now shows 1.18.29). I then ran "Clean up DB from inactive teams", which reported it deleted unused groups and users (unf...

Exactly what @wrc said!
I think wrc may understand the solution better than me.

propose "are you sure" if saving edited time entry with modified date
Hi all, it may just be me, but more than once (perhaps even a couple times a month), I have created a new time entry by copying a previous one, then lost the previous entry by Saving instead of Copying. Doh! (much worse language if it was a long comment, and assuming I even realized I'd lost the ori...
