Re: Desktop Position Changes with Monitor size

... the order of the clocks got mostly reversed... except for the top one. I had them stacked (top to bottom) 1-2-3-4-5-6-7, and now they are stacked 1-7-6-5-4-3-2. My guess is that you were updating Preferences and re-arranging positions of dektop clocks at the same time, meaning that Preferences ...

Re: Desktop Position Changes with Monitor size

You may try handling WM_DISPLAYCHANGE Windows message and perhaps introduce an option to use "relative" desktop clock positions (depending on display size). When display size changes - recalculate positions and move desktop clocks. Another option is to try using negative coordinates for clock window...

Re: Desktop clocks do not stay in place

... using 3x 4k screens. Just wondering what is your video configuration. Is it 2 video cards (which ones?) or something else like TripleHead2Go. If TripleHead2Go then you may want to check with https://www.anuko.com/world_clock/compatibility/triplehead2go.htm Another thought, if resolution is diff...

Re: Install TimeTracker on a Synology WebStation

Perhaps, this can help viewtopic.php?t=1740
Instead of
define('DSN', 'mysqli://DB_USER:DB_PASSWORD!@localhost/DB_NAME?charset=utf8');

This worked
define('DSN', 'mysqli://DB_USER:DB_PASSWORD!@SPECIFIC_HOSTNAME/DB_NAME?charset=utf8');

My conf.php settings : define('DSN', 'mysqli://user:user@%/timetracker?charset=utf8');
This looks strange. Try

Code: Select all

define('DSN', 'mysqli://user:password@localhost/timetracker?charset=utf8');
Here, the values are:
User: user.
Password: password.
Database name: timetracker.

Re: Access denied

Unfortunately, the "Update role_id it" is database schema specific, and will only work when executed as expected, for db schema version 1.17.44 (not after the fact when the schema is already updated to a more recent version). This is because fields have been either changed or dropped and at least on...

Re: Access denied

1. Should I perform all the steps (from top to bottom) because I'm not sure which is the the existing (old) version ? Which buttons must be choose? No, don't do all the steps. As some steps do some additional stuff in addition to updating the DB stricture (Update projects, etc.) which may mess thin...

Re: Access denied

Today I downloaded version 1.17.22.3998. The latest as of now is 1.17.89.4271, not 1.17.22.3998. If you need revamped roles working, it's best to use the latest. Error: database schema version query failed. MDB2 Error: no such table dbinstall.php seems out of sync, as there is no database version c...

Re: Access denied

Did you update the roles during migration (there is a button for that in deinstall.php in one step). Unfortunately, it works only for a specific version of the db schema, so if the step is missed, and the schema is updated (and the role field is therefore, dropped), then you may have to update the r...

Re: never Matching SQL in ttUser.class

The second "or" part of the sql command will never match. Why? Because in the where clause is "u.id = 795" . Never ever would it be 31. It is an or , so not matching second part does not matter. The second part should match when you query for self ($user_id equals $this->id). For example, when edit...

Re: DB error on upgrade

Are you sure you use the latest version of Time Tracker? If so, which version exactly? As prior to 1.17.36.4048 there was a bug in dbinstall.php, which was basically causing an exit, because instead of echo there was a die in the code, which was addressed in 1.17.36.4048, but if you use a slightly p...

Re: DB error on upgrade

I see the steps to upgrade "database structure" on page 2 of the upgrade document. Could you clarify which upgrade document you are referring to? If your current version is 1.11.44.3634 - then in dbinstall.php, assuming you see it, you have to execute the 4 steps outlined in the red rectangle in th...

Re: DB error on upgrade

Do you see the Updates section below the error and DB Install step? If so, determine the version of the code that you have (in the footer of your old installation). Then execute all required steps in sequence from top to bottom. For example, suppose your existing version is 1.5.80. Then you need to ...

Re: Enforce password length and complexity

How about keeping things simple. Add ONE field to the Group settings called: "Password complexity". If the field is null, the policy is not enforced. If the field contains an EXAMPLE password, then the code will calculate all it needs from the example, specifically: - Minimum password length. - Mini...
