Could you not replace windows system clock in task bar?

Post by palmydog » Tue Feb 18, 2014 3:00 am

Could you add an option to put the world clock beside the windows system clock?
Now if i enable the world clock, the system default clock is disappeared (replaced by the world clock)
The world clock is convenient, but the system default clock is also important to me, like i can view my own calendar at a glance, no need to move my mouse over.
Other reasons, the system default clock has no doubt the best compatibility with windows OS since it is developed together with windows...

I don't see conflicts between these 2 clocks.
Can i have both of them on my task bar, not the system default clock replaced by the world clock?

Thanks

Sorry, probably no.

It may sound like a good idea, but it involves a lot of risky hacking with Windows with little benefit to end user. The problems are mostly technical but the cost of solving them nicely does not justify a potential benefit.

So, it's either the system clock or World Clock.

Here is a little analogy with with cars - either one car or another. If you want to keep both cars you need to: 1) replace your garage (big job), and 2) remanufacture your car(s) so that they survive in there in all possible homes.
