Tool Tip Format
Tool Tip Format
Is there a way to show the day of the week in the tool tip when you hoover over a clock? it currently shows the city name (as set up) and on the second line the date in mmmm, dd, yyyy format. I'd like it to read - dddd mmmm, dd, yyyy but I'm not sure where I can set that format - I don't want to change the clock layout - just the tool-tip.
Re: Tool Tip Format
Something like that? Set the "Long date" in Regional options in Control Panel appropriately.
Re: Tool Tip Format
thanks but doesn't seem to work. On my windows settings the long date is set as you have shown. however the tool lip still shows the mmm, dd, yyyy format.

To post an image use the POSTREPLY button in a thread, then use the "Upload attachment" tab, which is on the bottom, below text area where you enter reply.srdavis wrote:Not sure how to post screen image
Re: Tool Tip Format
Do you display calendar in tooltip? Do you display all clocks in tooltip or one at a time (one per each taskbar clock)?

Re: Tool Tip Format
There is a day of week (Friday) in your tooltip for NZ clock (second line). Am I missing something?
Re: Tool Tip Format
Nope - its there - wasn't before - so I guess I'm done - that is what I get for using two machines. On my other one, an Remote Desktop (RD) it doesn't display the dow. I reset the region setting there and it still shows only month date year. But I'll have to wait to reboot the server for the RD when users are off. (I feel a bit silly, posting the picture of how I want it to appear). I'll update to inform if rebooting server helps the RDC
