Custom date format display bug

Post by markw » Tue Jul 17, 2018 9:57 pm

I want to report one bug, and make one request.

The bug:
This custom date format:
ww.wd\ndddd\ndd MMM yyyy\nOR ddd

Displays the last element (ddd), which is supposed to be the three letter day of the week, as if it is "dd", which is the day of the month, as seen in the attachment.

The request:
Let me have a longer custom date format!

Looks like a one-off error in the date formatter field, which allows for the last "d" to be put it, while is was not supposed to happen. I'll see if I can fix this.

I addressed the issue by slightly increasing the size of the buffer for date and time formats, and also limiting the text properly, so that the one-off error situation does not occur.

The fix is in version 6.0.1.5388.
