Fixed Qouta for Projects

Post by prx » Tue Nov 27, 2018 10:46 am

Dear Mighty Developers and Forum Comrades of Anuko Time Tracker,

I am wondering if there are possibilities to implement Fixed Quota for Project within Anuko Time Tracker.

At this moment there's is only possibility for monthly quota but in case of fixed price project this would be added value to this application.

Project X - 180 hours (if more provide notification that the quota has been fulfilled).

Does this sounds viable?

Regards!

Sounds like a good idea to improve the quota plugin, among other things. Different users have different needs, though. If this work is to be done, a design discussion about the feature is highly desirable.

For example, some would want "planning resources per project per month", etc. etc. etc. Or comparing real time vs projected, etc. Or other things.

There is currently an internal discussion on how to (possibly) improve (if we can) the quotas plugin (for a fee) to make it better suited for a couple of different situations (one includes part-time workers, another is related to resource planning). Although fixed quota per project is not in the list of requirements now, perhaps it could be made so, if someone is willing to contribute to it in some form or capacity.

Feel free to contact us via website for further details.
