Custom Translation

The Custom translation field in group display options in Time Tracker allows you to provide custom labels to user interface elements in the application. When provided, it overrides default strings.

Suppose you want to rename the Time menu to My time. You can introduce the following custom translation string into this field:

menu.time = My time

The above overrides the default string from a translation file. You can rename any user interface elements in Time Tracker using this mechanism. If you need to rename multiple labels then put each change on its own line. For example:

menu.time = My time
label.client = Customer

Empty Custom Translation Strings

Empty custom translation strings are allowed for situations when you want to hide a user interface element. This example below hides the Export menu in Time Tracker.
