Descriptions of Time Tracker Plugins
Charts - provides charts functionality in Time Tracker. When enabled, you can see visual graphics (pie charts) how work time was allocated between projects, tasks, or clients per user in specified time periods.
Puncher - provides a simple form to punch time in and out. It looks like a simplified Time page but instead of all its complexities it shows field selectors and either the Start or the Stop button which allow users to punch in and out.
Clients - allows you to define clients (customers) and associate projects with them. When enabled, time entry pages allow you to select a client in a dropdown. This field can be configured as mandatory.
Paid status - provides a method to mark individual time log items as either paid or unpaid. You can see and manipulate paid status on reports.
Custom fields - a powerful plugin that allows you to introduce an unlimited number of custom fields that may be associated with time entries, users, or projects. Custom fields may be text fields or dropdown fields with configurable options.
Expenses - adds a capability to track expenses in Time Tracker. Expenses are items that have a cost value. Expenses can be associated with projects. For example, you can track mileage (travel expenses) with this plugin, or material purchases.
Notifications - with this plugin you can email favorite reports out as per configurable schedule. For example, you can send yourself a daily / weekly report. Or, you can send reminders to group members to fill in their hours. Each notification can have an optional condition, which defines whether to send the notification or not.
Locking - allows to lock records from modifications as per configurable schedule.
Monthly quotas - adds a capability for users to see their monthly work hour quotas.
Week view - this plugin adds a week view to Time Tracker for quick time entry on weekly basis. You can use the week view to enter time for an entire week in one go. This simplifies time entry for users on repetitive work schedules such as working 8 hours a day every day on a single project.
Work units - adds a capability to calculate work units out of time logs for professionals who bill their clients based on work time units. For example: each 15 minutes worked is one unit. When this plugin is enabled you can see work units numbers in reports.
Report approval - allows group managers to approve individual time and expense entries. It adds an additional column on reports showing whether an entry was approved or not, as well as controls to mark items approved / not approved.
Timesheets - this plugin adds timesheet capability to Time Tracker along with an approval mechanism. A timesheet is a collection of time entries in a specified interval such as one or two weeks.
Templates - adds a capability to provide text templates for time entries. When enabled, users can select a template from a dropdown list on time entry page. This populates the Note field with template text. Templates can be associated with projects.
Attachments - allows to add (attach) files to various entities in Time Tracker such as time log entries, projects, and timesheets. For self-hosted installs this feature is available as a subscription with a free trial period.
