World Clock Appearance in Taskbar
World Clock can run either in the system taskbar, or on the desktop. Appearance settings are controlled differently for these 2 situations. This page describes
taskbar appearance settings.

Preferences. All clocks in taskbar use the same skin.

Changing Taskbar Clock Skin
To change World Clock skin in taskbar:
- Select another skin in the "Skin" dropdown on the Appearance in taskbar page in Preferences.
- Unless your taskbar is vertical, try to use a digital skin. There are two types of skins: digital and mechanical (or analog). Digital skins provide better readability in a narrow horizontal taskbar. Mechanical skins have the word Analog in their name. Mechanical skins work better in vertical taskbars or on the desktop where there is more room.

Setting Clock Color
Two things collectively contribute to the clock color displayed in taskbar:
- Skin background. You can turn it on or off on the Appearance in taskbar page in Preferences.
- Currently active clock highlight. This is a customized color that blends into a clockface in a proportion that you define. The clock color below with the Crystal skin is achieved with all highlights off and the skin background on. You may need to play with these settings as well as with individual highlight properties to get a required color.

Stacking Taskbar Clocks One on Top of Another
World Clock automatically stacks clocks one on top of another in taskbar,
if there is enough vertical room.

A stack of 3 clocks in taskbar
If you want to see several rows of clocks in taskbar but see only one, here are several options:
- Increase taskbar height. Unlock it first (right-click on any free area in taskbar and un-check the Lock the taskbar option). Then, drag and drop the taskbar border to change its height.

- Try using a different digital skin. For example, the Classic skin requires a bit more of vertical space because it uses a frame around clocks. You can try using the Standard system clock skin instead.

- If your skin allows to adjust font size, try to reduce it. Here is an example of taskbar clocks with Plain - Black skin with the default font size, followed by another example with a reduced font size.
