Location of World Clock Preferences Files

Internally, World Clock stores its configuration in 2 files.

• User settings - %APPDATA%\Anuko\World Clock\world_clock.ini - keeps preferences for a single user.
• Common settings - %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Anuko\World Clock\world_clock.ini - keeps shared settings for all users.

User Settings File

User preferences for each individual World Clock user are stored in this configuration file:

%APPDATA%\Anuko\World Clock\world_clock.ini

%APPDATA% is different for each user. On Windows 7, %APPDATA% resolves to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ and the full path becomes C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Anuko\World Clock\world_clock.ini. Below is an example of what this configuration file may contain. User settings are organized in sections that manage different aspects of the program. Section titles are composed of user login followed by a colon and a section descriptor. For example, [nik:calendar] group stores calendar preferences for user nik.

Common Settings File

Settings that are shared between all World Clock users on a particular computer system are kept in this file:

%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Anuko\World Clock\world_clock.ini

On Windows 7 %ALLUSERSPROFULE% resolves to C:\Users\All Users\. In this case the full path is C:\Users\All Users\Anuko\World Clock\world_clock.ini. Below is an example of what such file may contain.
