World Clock Appearance on Desktop

World Clock can run either on the system desktop, or in taskbar. Appearance settings are controlled differently for these 2 situations. This page describes desktop appearance settings.

Desktop clock skin is controlled on the Appearance on desktop page in Preferences, separately for each desktop clock.

Each clock in the navigation tree in Preferences has its own Appearance on desktop sub-node. Expand the clock node by clicking on the "+" sign to the left of clock checkbox to see it. Therefore, you can have a different skin for each desktop clock. This is different from taskbar clocks that share the same skin.

Changing Desktop Clock Skin

  • Open Preferences.
  • In Preferences, navigate to the Appearance on desktop sub-node, that is located under your clock node. As each clock has its own Appearance on desktop page, make sure to select the correct one.
  • Select a new skin in the Skin dropdown.

Pinning Desktop Clocks Together

You can arrange desktop clocks in any order, e.g. in a vertical or horizontal line, and even overlay them one on top of another, and then pin them together so that they become one object. This is easily accomplished by right-clicking and selecting the Attach to group option for any of desktop clocks. Clock group is convenient for dragging all clocks as one entity.
